Three New Pattern Books:
2 for Stained Glass; 1 for Fusing
These three books have been released and should now be available from your favorite supplier:
The Dance of Life
by Jody and Jon Sheppard
Dancers try to express meaning through the patterns of dance. Jody Sheppard tries to express the language of dance through her patterns for stained glass in The Dance of Life. Although a dance disappears when it is finished, some performances are so memorable that the dancer and the interpretation is never forgotten. Jody tries to capture these moments in her 19 evocative glass panels. Crafters will have fun recreating the ballet, the waltz, the cha cha, a pas de deux or scenes from a dance class, as well as many other historical and contemporary dance styles from around the globe.
Fused Glass for Walls
by Lynne Rae Eaton
If you're running out of window space for your art glass creations, this book is what you need. Lynne Rae Eaton (Time for Glass and Art Strips) offers up contemporary designs for 15 fused tiles to decorate your walls. Each tile is only 6"x6" so you can create them in even a very small kiln. These tiles are intended to be created in sets of three (or more) and then mounted, using hardware from Hang Your Glass, so that they "float" an inch or so in front of your wall. You can display the tile sets horizontally or vertically, depending what kind of space you are trying to enhance. Or use them individually to liven up a small nook or cranny.
Starcatchers
by Scott Haebich
Ever since Scott's Starbursts pattern book was released 3 years ago, glass crafters have been requesting smaller "suncatcher size" versions of the kaleidoscopic images in that collection. Starcatchers fulfills that request with 20 full-size starburst patterns that are only 6" to 7.5" in diameter. You can use any combination of your favorite glass colors and textures in these easy-to-create window hangings. Rather than filling up a window with one large Starburst, you can hang several of these smaller Starcatchers to liven up a room. They also make great gift items.

Three New Pattern Books
We've released 3 new pattern books for glass craft hobbyists. Each features patterns for stained glass projects: one for walls (Wall Mirrors), one for walls or windows (Art Strips), and one for tables or mantels (Candle Rings). Here are some details:
Art Strips
by Lynne Rae Eaton
The projects in this book were designed by Lynne to fill small, narrow spaces between doors, windows, etc. or to fill sidelights in entryways. You could also display a group of three or more "art strips" for a bigger impact on a wall or in a window. Make them with opalescent glass and mirror for wall hangings or use transparent glass and bevels for sidelights and windows. Most of these projects are quick and easy with lots of straight cuts. The photographs will show you how Lynne makes use of embellishments such as glass globs, jewels, stones, wire and solder beads to give these projects that extra punch. The patterns can be easily adapted to fit your space needs.
Wall Mirrors
by Judy Coleman
A beautiful mirror can make quite a statement in your home by reflecting light and making your room seem larger. Judy Coleman provides you with many mirror choices (both shape and style) in this new book. There are rectangular, oval and round mirrors with titles such as Sun, Seashell, Sun/Moon, Trellis, Window Box, Castle, and Roses. The Autumn mirror features a cobweb and spider in a tree branch; Flying Geese is based on a traditional quilt pattern; Iron Scroll has a scrollwork border; and Sante Fe is a circular mirror done in a Southwest style. Create one of Judy's mirrors for your entryway, bathroom, family room, bedroom or kitchen. Her tips and hints for working with mirror are included here and will help you add something beautiful and new to your decor.
Candle Rings
by Jill Williams
Bring a cozy glow to your home with Candle Rings and Complementary Box Lanterns. This new collection of full-size patterns from Jill Williams features 9 ring-shaped candle shelters with leaf and petal motifs. The design themes are repeated in the 9 box lanterns, also intended to be lighted with candles. The designs include: lily, oak, holly, rosebud, dogwood, sunflower, calla lily, tulip and bay leaf. Williams provides you with complete assembly instructions and each project is shown in a full color photograph on the cover.

Three New Books Now Available
We have shipped our 3 new books to distributors around the US and Canada. Take a look at these new pattern books next time you visit your favorite supplier. Here are the details:
Lava & Cube Lanterns
by Jill Williams
These lantern patterns represent Jill Williams' ongoing exploration of lamp designs following the success of her previous book, Box Column Lanterns. These new shapes are eclectic yet tasteful and will add a great note of character and interest to any decor. The designs are inspired by a blend of arts and crafts motifs with modern, mid-century "lava lamp" stylings. The result is decorative lighting that is geometric and sculptural, yet tempered with sensitive line and detail. Lava & Cube Lanterns includes full-size patterns and instructions for 12 lanterns. Adding the electric to the lantern is made easy with instructions and clear illustrations.
Prairie Miniatures
by Scott Haebich
If the panels in Scott's previous collection of Prairie style windows (Prairie Style Panels) weren't small enough, try these on for size. Ranging from 3"x5" to 6"x10", these suncatchers are quick "one afternoon" projects that will add a touch of class to any small space in your home. All but one of the 24 designs are comprised of entirely straight lines making these projects perfect for beginners. All of the projects in Prairie Style Miniatures are shown in full color to help you choose color schemes.
Fused Glass & Wood
Wildlife Projects
by Don Greene
What started as a fun way to use the cigar boxes that Don Greene collected has evolved into a book that combines fused glass wildlife patterns with wood settings.
Don provides patterns for creating a variety of small fused glass panels that look especially at home when placed into a wooden box lid or wooden frame. You'll find patterns for deer, bear, eagles and rainbow trout, as well as a butterfly, dragonfly and bumblebee. Instructions are included for both creating the fused animals, as well as preparing a wooden box to accept your finished panel. Many of the projects in Fused Glass & Wood Wildlife Projects make great gifts for those "hard-to-shop-for" guys in your life.
