Falling Snow (Lucy Webster)

This is my first attempt at an instrumental piece ever!
Before I knew what happened, I had a song but no words.
I enjoyed the way it all came about—
a very different experience for me, me being a writer.
New things can happen when you least expect it.
I love the surprises my art gives me.
The piece had a wintertime feel to it.
I could see the first snowfall and the beauty it brings.
Then the season goes on and on.
Snow falling… falling…
The fury of the wind blowing big,
cold snowflakes every which way seemingly all the time.
The song just “sounds” like my moody thoughts of Winter.
